Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Once Ifrane, we will take the road to Midelt, where we will make a short stop in the famous cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. Barbary monkeys, a species of macaque found only here and in Gibraltar, live here in one of the last communities.

Day 3: Ramlia – Dades Valley

After breakfast we will head in the direction of Alnif to reach the town of Tinerhir, located in a wide valley washed by the Todra river, which provides irrigation water to numerous cultivated areas in the shadow of a palm grove.

The Tinerhir palm grove, more than thirty kilometers long, extends south of the Todra Gorges, one of the natural gateways between the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara, and one of the Most beautiful oases in Area Todra Gorges is located in the northern part of the Tinerhir palm grove,

importantly at the foot of the Eastern High Atlas Mountains. Gradually this palm grove narrows, and the limestone walls delimiting it rise to a height of up to three hundred meters, and in some sections they are separated by barely twenty meters, with the narrowest place being about ten meters wide. from here you will travel to Dades for the Night.

Day 4 : Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey through the Dades gorges, passing by the unique “monkey fingers” rock formations in Tamlat gorge, shaped by wind erosion. We’ll then head towards Skoura and Butagar villages, where we’ll encounter nomads and their herds.

In the afternoon, we’ll venture through the High Atlas Mountains to the fortified city of Ait Ben-Haddou, a historic kasbah protected by UNESCO since 1987. This picturesque location has been featured in many films due to its stunning surroundings.

After visiting the kasbah, we’ll traverse the Tichka Tizin Pass, the highest point in the High Atlas Mountains, passing through Amazigh (Berber) territory until we finally reach Marrakech.
