Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

Arrival at the port/airport of Tangier and meeting with our Driver Guide, to start your 8 Days Desert Tour from Tangier to Marrakech begining with Chauen and, if time permit, a stop in the Spanish town of Tetouan.

Arrival in Chauen, transfer to the hotel and free time to explore its streets, old white and blue houses and panoramic views.

Overnight stay and breakfast in a charming riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

Depart in Fez, where we will cross the Rif forest and travel to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. If desired, we will visit the ruins with a local guide and then continue to Meknes, a city that flourished thanks to Sultan Moulay Ismail. Visit his mausoleum and the famous Bab Mansour Gate. After the tour we will leave for our destination, Fez. Arrival in Fez and free time.

Day 3: Touring Fes

After breakfast, guided city tour. The whole day is devoted to exploring the intellectual city of the kingdom. Visiting numerous monuments: Medersas (Koranic school), Chahri, Buynania Attarin, Souksa, Fez El Jedid, Karawin Mosque (first university in the world).

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Merzouga Desert

From Fez we will travel toward the Middle Atlas Mountains with a stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa.

The next village will be Azrou, passing through a national park known for its cedar trees, which are home to the area’s famous monkeys. Then will drive through the Ziz Valley, which will take us to Erfoud, known for its fossils.

Arrival in the desert, where we will exchange our four-wheel-drive vehicle for camels, on which you will ride pleasantly for two hours through the dunes until, reach the camp in the heart of the desert, where we will be greeted with Berber tea in the tradition of the Sahara.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert – Todra gorges – Ouarzazate

We will leave the dunes and drive from Erfoud to Tingher to visit the Todra Gorge and have lunch. Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Telouat – Marrakech

Depart from Ouarzazate and visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, the location of such films as “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Obelix,” and “The Moomins.” then drive across the mountains to visit the Kasbah of Telouat. In the afternoon, we will arriva to Marrakech via the port of Tizi Ntika (2260m above sea level), one of the most beautiful ports in Morocco. Rest and overnight in a charming hotel.

Day 7: Explore Marrakech

Morning sightseeing tour of Marrakech with local guide – change at 09:00 for a guided tour of Marrakech, founded by the Almorragh Dynasty in the 11th century. Highlights In the afternoon, free to explore the city, negotiate. In the evening, enjoy the sunset from the observatory in the square. Watching the sunset is an undeniable pleasure for anyone who sets foot in Marrakech.

Day 8: Marrakech or Casablanca Airport
