In this 7 Days Tour From Fes To Marrakech takes you on an amazing journey through the lands of Southern Morocco. Day 1: Welcome to Fes
Morocco tours Adventure team will pick you up at the airport of fes transfer you to the Hotel.
Day 2: Visiting Fes attractions.
Breakfast and a local guide will take you to visit Fes, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco and the spiritual and cultural capital of the Kingdom. You will have the possibility to visit the religious, artistic and intellectual center of the country, the oldest medina, the medersas of Cherratine and El-Attarine (building dedicated to religious study and decorated in Arabic style), the University of Karaouiynes and the Fountain of Nejjarine. After lunch, visit the various souks differentiated by handicrafts such as the famous tanners’ quarter, and the Mechouar of the Royal Palace. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3: From Fes to Merzouga & camel trekking & night at the camp.
After breakfast we will leave Fes in the direction of Ifrane, a city located in the Middle Atlas in a mountainous area at an altitude of 1713 meters and with a cold climate, which has influenced the nickname of the little African Switzerland. On leaving Ifrane, we will take the road to Midelt, where we will make a brief stop in the famous cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, where one of the last communities of Barbary apes lives, a species of macaque that can only be seen here and in Gibraltar.
We follow the route through the impressive Ziz river valley. The route through the Ziz valley is through limestone gorges lined with tall date palms and mixed with the adobe house constructions, making the place a fascinating sight to behold. The Ziz River rises in the High Atlas and digs its way through impressive cliffs, heading south, where it irrigates the immense palm grove of Tafilalet. The water marks the route to the desert, where it disappears after more than 270 km.
In the afternoon we will arrive in Merzouga at the foot of the dunes, we will leave the 4×4 and get on the camels that will take us to the high desert dunes to enjoy an unforgettable sunset. Night In the Desert Camp.
Day 4: Merzouga – Route of the Paris-Dakar rally – Ramlia
We will get up early to meet the sunrise in the dunes and after a good breakfast we will go to the oasis of Ramlia, a beautiful oasis with palm trees in the Tafilalt region, located in the southeast of the Sahara desert, close to the border of Algeria and Morocco.
To reach Ramlia, we must follow the route of the Paris-Dakar rally, through beautiful desert landscapes, Ramlia is located in the middle of nowhere, its inhabitants are ancient nomads, all belonging to the Ait Khbach tribe, which is part of the large Amazigh Ait Atta group from the southeast of the Moroccan Sahara desert and are very hospitable.
Dinner and overnight in a hotel in the middle of the purest desert.
Day 5: Route of the Paris-Dakar rally – Dades Valley
After breakfast we will head in the direction of Alnif to reach the town of Tineghir, located in a wide valley washed by the Todra river, which provides irrigation water to numerous cultivated areas in the shadow of a palm grove. The Tineghir palm grove, more than thirty kilometers long, extends south of the Todra Gorges, one of the natural gateways between the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara, and one of the Most beautiful oases in Area
Todra Gorges is located in the northern part of the Tineghir palm grove, at the foot of the Eastern High Atlas Mountains. Gradually this palm grove narrows, and the limestone walls delimiting it rise to a height of up to three hundred meters, and in some sections they are separated by barely twenty meters, with the narrowest place being about ten meters wide. from here you will travel to Dades for the Night.
Dinner and overnight in the hotel located in the Dades.
Day 6: From Boumalne Dades to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou.
We will enjoy the best views of the Dades Valley and its many casbahs of great tourist value. We will then continue through the Valley of Roses and the great palm forests of Skola to reach Quazazat, where we will visit the Kasbah of Taourit, the former residence of the Pacha Glaoui. Afterwards, we will move to Ait Ben Haddou to visit the famous Kasbah, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986. This is where movies such as Gladiator, The Mummy, Obelix, and Jewel of the Nile were filmed. Free time for lunch. After lunch, we will continue on the road to Marrakech, crossing the Tizi-Ntica Mountains, with a break for photo stops. 6:00 p.m. Upon Arrival in Marrakech and transfer to your Accommodation.
Day 7: Marrakech – Guided Tour and Airport Transfer
