In addition to visiting Meknes, Fez, the cultural city of Morocco, and Swiss Ifrane. Then we head south to visit the cedar forests, Midelt, the stunning Ziz valley. And we will take you in the deep of the desert Off Road to Experience the Nomadic Life.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen
Arrival at the port/airport of Tangier and meeting with our Driver Guide, to start your 9 Days Morocco Desert itinerary from Tangier to Chauen and, if time permits, a stop in the Spanish town of Tetouan.
Arrival in Chauen, transfer to the hotel and free time to explore its streets, old white and blue houses and panoramic views.
Overnight stay and breakfast in a charming riad.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
Depart in Fez, where we will cross the Rif forest and travel to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. If desired, we will visit the ruins with a local guide and then continue to Meknes, a city that flourished thanks to Sultan Moulay Ismail. Visit his mausoleum and the famous Bab Mansour Gate. After the tour we will leave for our destination, Fez. Overnight in a charming riad.
Day 3: Touring Fes
After breakfast, guided city tour. The whole day is devoted to exploring the intellectual city of the kingdom. Visiting numerous monuments: Medersas (Koranic school), Chahri, Buynania Attarin, Souksa, Fez El Jedid, Karawin Mosque (first university in the world).
Free time and overnight in a charming riad.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Erfoud – Merzouga desert
From Fez we will travel toward the Middle Atlas Mountains with a stop in Ifrane, that known as the Switzerland of Africa.
The next village will be Azrou, passing through a national park known for its cedar trees, which are home to the area’s famous monkeys. Then will drive through the Ziz Valley, which will take us to Erfoud, known for its fossils.
Arrival in the desert, where we will exchange our four-wheel-drive vehicle for camels, on which you will ride pleasantly for two hours through the dunes, until reach the camp in the heart of the desert, where we will be greeted with Berber tea in the tradition of the Sahara.

Day 5: Merzouga – Ouzina – Ramlia Desert
We will get up early to meet the sunrise in the dunes and after a good breakfast we will go to the oasis of Ramlia, a beautiful oasis with palm trees in the Tafilalt region, located in the southeast of the Sahara desert, close to the border of Algeria and Morocco.
To reach Ramlia, we must follow the route of the Paris-Dakar rally, through beautiful desert landscapes, Ramlia is located in the middle of nowhere, its inhabitants are ancient nomads, all belonging to the Ait Khbach tribe, which is part of the large Amazigh Ait Atta group from the southeast of the Moroccan Sahara desert and are very hospitable.

Day 6: Ramlia desert – Dades Valley
After breakfast we will head in the direction of Alnif to reach the town of Tineghir, located in a wide valley washed by the Todra river, which provides irrigation water to numerous cultivated areas in the shadow of a palm grove. The Tineghir palm grove, more than thirty kilometers long, extends south of the Todra Gorges, one of the natural gateways between the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara, and one of the Most beautiful oases in Area.
Todra Gorges is located in the northern part of the Tineghir palm grove, at the foot of the Eastern High Atlas Mountains. Gradually this palm grove narrows, and the limestone walls delimiting it rise to a height of up to three hundred meters, and in some sections they are separated by barely twenty meters, with the narrowest place being about ten meters wide. from here you will travel to Dades for the Night.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast and before continuing to Marrakech you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou where many movies have been filmed, including Sahara, Kingdom of Heaven, Cleopatra and Gladiator. Then you’ll cross the Tizi N’tichka pass through the High Atlas Mountains on your way to Marrakech. You will see Berber villages and farms on the mountain slopes. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon and end of the route.
Day 8: Marrakech guided tour
You will enjoy a guided tour in Marrakech, which is the best way to discover the secrets of this enchanting city. It will take place in the morning, after breakfast in the riad, and you will visit the main sites of the medina: Jemaa el-Fna Square, Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs or Ben Youssef Madrassa are some of the stops of the walking tour.
The afternoon, on the other hand, will be free, so you can add visits to other places of historical and artistic interest. For example, the El Badi Palace, the Marrakech Museum, the Yves Saint Laurent Museum or the Majorelle Gardens, a unique botanical gem in Morocco. Our guide will be able to advise you the most interesting places according to your tastes.
Day 9: Marrakech Airport
