Itinerary:
Day 1 : Arrival at Marrakech
On the furst day of our Honeymoon in Morocco.
Arrival at Marrakech airport where you will be met by our driver and transferred to your hotel to drop off your bags if you have time we will take you to visit majorell garden yeves de sallohan museum then free time in the famous square to enjoy.
Day 2 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddoy – Dades valley
Departure in the morning heading east towards Ouarzazate via the Tizi n’Tichka pass through the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for panoramic photos along the way. You will visit the village of Ait Ben Haddou to see an ancient Kasbah classified by the UNESCO organization; it is one of the world’s leading tourist attractions. Many famous movies have been filmed there. You’ll continue on to Ouarzazate, where the largest film studios or so-called Hollywood in Africa are located. Here you can stop for lunch (optional). Departure via Skoura, which is an extensive oasis of palm trees, where a beautiful Kasbah called Kasbah Amrhydil is located. Then, passing through the Valley of the Roses, where the annual rose festival is held every May, in this town you will change course and get off the beaten track, where you will enjoy the tranquillity of the mountains populated by the region’s nomads. Atlas. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for a series of Berber villages built from mud and brick. Check into your accommodation at the foot of the canyons. Night at the hotel.
Day 3 : Dades Valley – Todra gorges – Merzouga desert
After breakfast, we head to the Dadès Valley, passing the incredible Todgha Gorges, where we will stay for a while to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. We then head towards Merzouga, passing the palm grove of Jorf and stopping for lunch before arriving in Erfoud, a town famous for its fossil fragments. On arrival in Merzouga, we’ll swap our motorized vehicles for camels to immerse ourselves in the desert, and look for the Bedouin camp where we’ll spend the night. Here, surrounded by the silence of the desert, we will enjoy one of Morocco’s most authentic dinners.
Day 4 : Merzouga desert – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
If there’s one inescapable sight in the desert, it’s the sunrise. After enjoying this moment of tranquillity, the tour returns to its dromedaries, to reach a hotel where we can shower and have breakfast (depending on the type of camp, breakfast and shower can be before the dromedaries). Passing the palm grove of Tafilalet and the city of Rissani (where Morocco’s Alawite dynasty comes from), the tour reaches Alnif, where we take the road that crosses the Anti Atlas mountain range. Through these extraordinary mountain passes, we will reach Tazarine (an important Berber village), N’koband and, finally, the Draa Valley and its impressive palm grove. After crossing the mountain range via the Tizi n-Tinifift pass (1660 meters high), we arrive in Ouarzazate, where we will stop for lunch before continuing our journey back to Marrakech, dropping you off at your hotel for the night.
Day 5 : Explore Marrakech – Airport
This day will be dedicated to sightseeing in Marrakech, the second oldest imperial city, known as the “Pearl of the South” and home to the Saadian tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque and the Bahia Palace. Afterwards, we’ll take a tour of the souks and the world-famous Djemaa El Fna, which offers a variety of entertainment,
In the afternoon, when you’re ready, our driver will take you to the airport 2 hours before your flight, and we thank you very much for your experience in picking us up for your flight home. This ends your Honeymoon in Morocco.
